ABOUT ME

I recently completed my Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Marine and Estuarine Sciences at San Francisco State University's Estuary and Ocean Science Center. I was advised by Dr. Andrew Chang of the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center's Marine Invasions Lab and co-advised by Dr. Matthew Ferner of the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

I am passionate about conservation, climate change, and sustainability and am seeking a job opportunity where I can be proud of my work. While my resume showcases a strong balance between policy, science, writing, and technical skills, my greatest asset lies in my people skills. As a true extrovert and optimist, I am seeking another learning opportunity where I can continue to grow professionally and collaborate on projects I am proud of.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

My undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and Management as well as working as an Environmental Planner have helped me develop a strong understanding of environmental policy and law. I have applied that knowledge by carrying a project through the environmental permitting process.

COMMUNICATION & TEAMWORK

I enjoy working with people, and this is something I would like to bring with me as I move forward with my career. Growing up I enjoyed singing and acting, and as an adult this has contributed to my confidence public speaking as well as engaging in collaboration.

CALIFORNIA ECOSYSTEMS

I have spent most of my life in California exploring native ecosystems. In addition to professional experience in vernal pools, the central valley, the desert, agricultural fields, tidal wetlands, and more, I love to explore recreationally in kelp forests, intertidal zones, and hiking in the mountains.
